Nutrition + connections = Magnolia Meals at Home™

First Aired: October 20, 2013

It’s hard to hard to plan and cook meals when you’re in treatment for breast cancer. There’s a new program in the Triangle that can help. It’s called Magnolia Meals at Home™, and it’s made possible in our community thanks to the Eisai Women’s Oncology Program, Meals on Wheels Association of America, and Cornucopia Cancer Support Center. This program delivers nutritious meals at no cost to patients living with breast cancer and their families.

Our guests are Drew Duncan, Director of Human Resources with Eisai in RTP, and Alan Winstead, Executive Director of Meals on Wheels of Wake County. They will share information about the program’s expansion into the Triangle. Learn about program eligibility, meal deliveries, and volunteer opportunities.
