The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act – it’s been in the news and on the minds of many Americans. On this program, we talk about the Act – also known by the nickname Obamacare. There are a lot of viewpoints about the Affordable Care Act, and many questions have been raised about how it will affect those journeying with cancer.

Helping us manage the maze of information is Monica Bryant, a cancer rights attorney and Chief Operating Officer of Triage Cancer, nonprofit organization helps patients, survivors, caregivers, and health care professionals navigate cancer survivorship issues by connecting them to experts, information, and resources. She shares her expertise and provides answers to some of the more-pressing questions facing those with cancer.
