Cornucopia Cancer Support Center and Run for Phil have had to cancel The Chocolate 5K scheduled for 15 April 2017 in Durham, NC.
Due to low registration numbers this year, we are unable to host the event. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We want to thank our strategic partners for working with us to set up the event: The City of Durham, Fleet Feet, our local business contacts helping us to promote the event, and our volunteers. And, we thank you for continuing to support the important work of the Cornucopia Cancer Support Center, a place where anyone touched by cancer can find support and resources to live life to the fullest. Cornucopia accomplishes this by supporting the mind, body and spirit of those journeying with cancer, their families and caregivers through complementary therapies, meal and transportation assistance, individual and group support, expressive arts, information and resources, all in a non-clinical setting. We hope you can continue your generosity so Cornucopia can provide all its services free of charge to anyone touched by cancer.
Our 2016 Event
We’re so grateful to the more than 300 walkers and runners braved the elements and show their support of anyone journeying with cancer. The proceeds raised at this event and A Chocolate Affaire are already helping those in treatment, survivors and their families with essential oncology support services to enhance their quality of life. See more photos from our second annual Chocolate 5K here. Thank you!
